Nasivion® – Saline Nasal Solution

A nose that feels good

Nasivion® Saline Drops is a safe solution for dry stuffy noses of your little ones. It’s an isotonic saline solution provides a natural way to soothe dryness. It can also help to improve nasal hygiene.
USEFUL INFORMATION

Nasivion® S – Saline nasal drops
INGREDIENTS

1 ml of Nasivion® Saline contains:

- Sodium Chloride IP 0.65% w/v in distilled water made isotonic and buffed

- Benzalkonium Chloride Solution IP 0.03% w/v (as preservative)

DOSAGE AND FREQUENCY OF USE

Instil 2-3 drops / sprays in each nostril 3-4 times daily or as directed by the Physician

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

- Close the cap tightly after use

- Preserve in tight containers at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

- Do not freeze

Do not use if seal is broken

Then enjoy easier breathing and living life to the fullest.
As Spray:
  • Clean your nose by gently blowing over a handkerchief or tissue
  • Insert the nozzle into affected nostril by tilting the head forward in erect posture
  • Use the spray by squeezing the bottle once and continue normal breathing inwards (inhalation)
  • Release the pressure from the bottle and comfortably remove the nozzle from the nostril
  • Repeat the same steps while applying in the other nostril
  • Do not forget to replace the cap tightly after use
Follow easy steps to use Nasivion® S
As Drops:
  • Clean your nose by gently blowing over a handkerchief or tissue
  • In sitting posture, tilt your head back as far as possible OR in lying down posture, the head can be tilted backwards or comfortably arched over the edge of the bed
  • With the bottle inverted over the affected nostril, allow sufficient time for 2-3 drops to fall and spread inside the nose
  • Repeat the same steps while applying in the other nostril
  • Do not forget to replace the cap tightly after use

A saline solution is a salt and water mixture. It was first used during the blue cholera epidemic that swept through Europe in 1831. It serves to reverse the negative impact of dehydration and restore fluid to body cells and tissues. The word stems from the Latin “sal” for “salt”.
